On 18 February, we held a meeting to work on possible cooperation activities and projects with Latin America, analysing the project of the Universities of the Carolinas together with the Universities of Granada, Mexico and San Marcos de Lima.
On the other hand, the implementation of cooperation activities and projects with other American routes and itineraries was also studied, such as the Routes of Columbus, Camino Real and of Panama Crosses, Camino Real de Tierra a Dentro, Camino Real del Norte de Córdoba - Argentina (section of the Camino Real from Buenos Aires to Lima) or the Colonial Route and the Route of the Volcanoes.
Likewise, the different aids and subsidies for cooperation projects in this year 2021 were analysed. For this purpose, we were accompanied by a representative of the Crea360 consultancy firm (a technical consultancy firm that the Network of Routes of Charles V has contracted for the preparation and presentation of cooperation projects).
Finally, and as the last point of that meeting, the possibility of incorporating new partners from Latin America and the Caribbean to the Network (American cities founded under the reign of Charles V) was studied.
