The Royal Monastery of Yuste (Cuacos de Yuste, Cáceres) will host two appointments that are part of the series ‘The Emperor's Concerts’, organized by the Yuste Foundation in collaboration with the Goethe Foundation and National Heritage; and organization in which this network of routes also collaborates.
These are two dates, on Saturday, September 21st, at 1:00 p.m., by the Antiqva Chamber, a concert that commemorates the 461 anniversary of Emperor Charles V; and on October 6th, at the same time, in this occasion by Singer Pur.
It should be noted that in both cases, on September 21st and October 6th, 26 people can visit the Royal Monastery of Yuste for free, upon request to email@example.com, under the recently signed agreement between our network and the Royal Theater of Madrid.
In this regard, we must also review other activities programmed by the Royal Theater focused both in the figure of Emperor Charles V and that of members of his family scheduled for the next few months, among which we must highlight the representation of Don Carlo, of Giuseppe Verdi, at the Royal Theater (in addition to the keys to this opera, which will be offered to the public by the musical critic José Luis Téllez forty-five minutes before each performance), the visit to the Book of Hours of the Emperor, which can be seen in the National Library between October and January 2020 (free of charge ); or guided visits to exhibitions on Habsburg Spain in the National Archaeological Museum (September 26th. Free visit), and Spanish fashion in the Golden Age (September 19th and 21st at the Lázaro Galdiano Museum); thus as the one dedicated to the Habsburg universe from a creative and marine point of view in the Naval Museum, since September 18th and for free.
